| Scholarships or student grants program description |
The John Lennon Memorial Scholarship is intended to support students in financial need and enhance, among other things, awareness of global problems and environmental issues.
Who can apply?
* Current Home (UK) and EU undergraduates and postgraduates (but not Flexible Degree students) are eligible to apply.
* Prospective Home (UK) and undergraduate students applying through UCAS who have accepted the University of Liverpool as their first choice university.
Please note that the Scholarships Committee may insert additional eligibility criteria to the list above. For example, the Committee may target some awards at particular disciplines or levels, if deemed appropriate.
How much is available?
Up to 40 awards of £1,500 are available to all students. These awards are tenable for one year only but students may apply again in subsequent years.
A number of fee-only Postgraduate Research studentships, valued at £3,390 are also available. These awards are tenable for three years, subject to good academic progress.
Further travel grants, of up to £1000 in value, will be made available during the forthcoming academic session. Application forms will appear on this web page after the start of the session.
