This award offers a fee waiver of £1,000 for the first year and £500 for years two, three and four to every student from India studying full-time for an undergraduate or postgraduate (taught or research) degree.
The University of Stirling wishes to offer this award in response to the many links between India and Scotland. We realize the high cost of studying in the UK and Stirling wants to make a contribution and help students from India students to be able to come and study at Stirling and increase the already diverse international community on campus.
Students do not have to apply for this award. Each student who accepts an offer of admission will be provided with details of how to claim the award payment against the final instalment of the relevant tuition fee.
The award is a waiver of the final £1000 of the overseas tuition fee paid by an individual student and is not a cash award. In cases where a student's tuition fee is paid directly from another source such as a funding body or other scholarship, no tuition fee waiver is available.
