Scholarships or student grants program description
Who Is Eligible: Youth Activity Fund grants are made to full-time high school and undergraduate college students to enable them to participate in field research in the natural sciences under the supervision of a qualified scientist or institution. Research stipend amounts typically range from $500 to $1,500. You do not need to be a member of The Explorers Club to apply. If awarded a grant, you will also be awarded a one-year student membership in the Club. Requirements: Grant recipients are expected to submit a Grant Expedition Report, with photographs if possible, within six months after completing their fieldwork. The report should include an itemized statement of expenses.
