Scholarships or student grants program description
Presented by the Penn State Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center Staff to honor Dr. David Kistler and thank him for his many years of service as chief of staff. Applicant must be a freshman student who is a resident of Luzerne County and is studying toward a career in a health care related field. Grades, student’s character, community involvement and accomplishments will be given special consideration in selecting the recipient. To be eligible for scholarships, applicants must have: ! Full-time status is equivalent to enrollment in 12 or more credits per semester. ! This application can also be obtained on-line by visiting www.luzerne.edu ! Applications must be received by the LCCC Foundation Office prior to April 15th. Applications are accepted from January through April 15th for award in the Fall semester. Awards are disbursed as follows: ! the award will be credited to the student’s account with the Business Office in the fall semester and the remaining balance will be credited for the following spring semester. !
