Must be enrolled in the Registered Nursing program at Milwaukee Area Technical College. Applicants must be in good academic standing. Applicants must meet the standard criteria of financial need as determined by guidelines of the Federal Student Financial Aid program. Preference will be given first to students from Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington or Ozaukee counties, then to students from other areas of Wisconsin. Applicants must submit a completed MATC Foundation scholarship application by the appropriate deadline to be considered for an award.

How to apply for a scholarship or financial aid:
To apply for an MATC Foundation Scholarship (scholarship name begins with MATC):
Obtain an MATC Foundation Scholarship Application from the Milwaukee Campus Scholarship Clearinghouse in the Financial Aid Office (Room S223), at each campus Student Service area, or download from the website.
Read the application and scholarship criteria carefully. Please make sure that you are eligible for the scholarship.
Complete the application as neatly as possible. Please print in ink or type. Remember to proofread your application for spelling, grammatical, and typographical errors. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Scholarship recipients will be notified by mail.
Make a copy of your completed application for your personal file.
If the scholarship requires completed recommendation form(s), they should be submitted with your application in a sealed envelope.

MATC Foundation scholarships with an October deadline will be awarded to continuing students for the spring semester, and MATC scholarships with an April deadline will be awarded to continuing students for the fall semester.
