Western Christian College (WCC) has its roots in summer and winter Bible schools conducted by the Churches of Christ in southern Saskatchewan in the early 1930s. Radville Christian College began in 1945. The following year a formal high school was organized. After twelve years the school moved to Weyburn where it became Western Christian College. A formal junior college program was initiated in 1968. By 1983 this expanded to include the baccalaureate degree.
The Weyburn campus, originally an airport built for World War II, was no longer appropriate as a school facility. In 1989, WCC moved to Dauphin, Manitoba. There, the school enjoyed a warm relationship with the community, but the majority of our students continued to come from Saskatchewan. These historic and emotional ties to our constituency called us back to Saskatchewan in 2001 and the school moved to Regina, Saskatchewan. On Canada Day 2003, WCC purchased the former campus of Canadian Bible College at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Lewvan Drive. Relocation to Regina allows WCC to serve churches and individuals even more effectively by working more directly with churches seeking to train leaders.

The "Queen City" is also well known as the location of the national training academy for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. |
